A 20-year old martial artist from China, Cay Ling lost her hand when a rampaging Basan [large fire-breathing demonic chicken monster] killed her teacher and destroyed her master's dojo, leaving her with a strange marking in place of her hand. Instead of seeking revenge, Cay Ling crafted a mechanical prosthetic hand to control that marking, transforming her inner Ki energy into flame projectiles.
